Mother’s Day is just under two weeks away and can we all agree that moms all over the world are going to need some extra special love this year? Whether you’re shopping for your own mother or needing some ideas to casually drop a hint to your family, I’ve got you covered.

- Share great gift ideas for deserving moms and
- Show some love to my favourite local businesses.
Just like our moms, our friends running small businesses are deserving of some major love right now too. Many have been forced to transfer their entire inventory online in order to stay operational while others are driving all over the city to deliver online purchases.
Regardless of whether something interests you on this list or not, I encourage you to think about supporting local in whatever way you choose to honour mom on May 10th. And keep in mind you can’t simply run out and grab a last-minute gift on Saturday so you are going to need to do some planning ahead this year.
Mother’s Day Gifts She Will Love
All of the gift ideas listed below are from shops local to me in the Regina, SK, and Yorkton, SK areas; however, many will ship anywhere in Canada. As I mentioned, I don’t stand to gain anything from purchases made through this blog post, I genuinely love these local businesses and I think these gift ideas will make the mom in your life feel incredibly loved and appreciated.
Jewelry
You can absolutely never go wrong with jewelry. A classic pair of hoop earrings or diamond studs, a sentimental bracelet or a beautiful pendant necklace are all touching ways to tell mom you love her.
Bella Chic is a trendy clothing and accessories boutique located in Emerald Park and Moose Jaw. There are so many awesome gift ideas to choose from at this shop but I am in love with this is Rose Quartz Heart Necklace.
Another one of my favourite clothing and accessories boutique shops in Regina is Marbella Clothing on Hill Avenue. Sheri’s store is full of your favourite designer labels and beautiful accessories. I am obsessed with Canadian Jeweler, Jenny Bird whose beautiful pieces can be found at Marbella. You cannot go wrong with the Icon Hoops or Juno Huggies. They are both classic and absolutely gorgeous.
If you are looking for something a little more sentimental, then I would definitely suggest checking out DBL Designs. Not only is Krista’s work beautiful, but she is also an amazingly inspirational human. Whether it’s a custom keepsake like the Mom Since… bracelet from her Lucky Penny Collection or the Love You Mom XOXO stackable bracelets, the mom in your life will be incredibly touched by this thoughtful gift.
If mom needs a place to store all of her beautiful jewelry, the new My Tag Alongs jewelry cases from Pulse Apparel in Yorkton are super cute. Pulse is definitely one of my favourite stores. They also carry a large collection of fashion-forward clothing and accessories. Their Matt & Nat collection is amazing. Pulse doesn’t have a website but they do ship so give them a call if there’s something that catches your eye on their Instagram page.
Graphic Tees
There are so many adorable graphic tops out there right now that are perfect for Mother’s Day.
Uptown Casuals in Yorkton has the most adorable Mama Graphic Tee in stock right now! I don’t think there are many left so act quickly. If you strike out, I encourage you to browse their online site. They have beautiful clothing and accessories. It’s really so awesome to have a number of amazing boutiques in Yorkton to shop at.
Another fantastic clothing and accessories store in Yorkton is Losa Chic Boutique . They have a super cute Mama Crewneck Sweater right now. My boy calls me Mama and I love pink so I’m kind of obsessed with this sweater.
For the wine-loving mama in your life, a sweatshirt from Regina company, Wine Sloth Clothing and a nice bottle of wine from Bar Willow is the perfect gift idea. I think the Rosé Sloth Sweatshirt paired with a bottle of Rosé would be amazing.
Gift Packages and Kits
There are so many wonderful kits and gift packages available for moms right now I don’t even know where to start. Here are a few I think are crazy awesome.

Flowers
Flowers are always a great idea. If you’re in Regina, pre-order a bouquet from Wascana Flower Shoppe for delivery between May 4 to 9th only! My personal favourite is the Tea Time with Mom bouquet. So beautiful.
For my Yorkton friends, I love All About Flowers. I believe they are also accepting pre-orders for Mother’s Day. Their fresh cut flower bouquets are always stunning.
