Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and if you love food and wine as much as we do, then I’ve got you covered for the perfect Valentine’s Day gift idea.

Whether you’re in a romantic relationship or not, Valentine’s Day is a fun day to spread love and kindness to those around you. I loved Valentine’s Day as a kid. It was so fun to make our little Valentine’s mailboxes and write out a card for each of my classmates. I loved giving valentines and receiving all of them in return made my day.

But kids don’t have to be the only ones handing out valentines this Valentine’s Day. There are many cards great for grown-ups like these adorable Wine and Cheese Valentines. So cute! I couldn’t resist ordering a pack of these for my friends and colleagues.

My husband and I like to plan a romantic dinner at home on Valentine’s Day. We pick a new recipe and a couple of nice bottles of wine then crank up the tunes and get cooking. (We think our Drunken Spaghetti (Spaghetti All’Ubriaco or Beef Wellington for Two are the perfect recipes to try for Valentine’s Day.)

We don’t really splurge for Valentine’s Day but we do like to give each other something thoughtful that usually has something to do with wine or food. I love receiving gifts for my kitchen and we both love ANYTHING related to wine.

This year I gathered up some fun gift ideas for food and wine lovers that could also be used for your romantic dinner at home. Feel free to share this post with your significant other if they need a couple of hints! And I do believe a bottle of wine pairs well with every gift idea on this list.
