It’s officially my favourite time of year…Christmas!

There is just something magical about this season. The lights. The music. The cozy nights. And of course, the baking. I love how the holidays bring together so many of my favourite things and so many favourite people.

If you know me, you know I’m a cookie baker at heart. My mom can keep the Christmas squares because no one makes them like she does.

So this year, I thought I would make things simple and gather all of my cookie recipes in one place. That way, you can find what you need quickly and enjoy more time baking with less time searching.

If you try any of these recipes, I would love to hear how they turn out. It always makes me smile when I see your photos or hear the stories behind them.

Now go preheat that oven!

Christmas Cookie Recipe Round Up

The Perfect Sugar Cookie Recipe

First up is my Perfect Sugar Cookie recipe. This one is a classic and such a good staple to keep tucked in your recipe box all year long, but it truly shines at Christmas time. These cookies are soft, chewy, and so delicious. They’re ideal for decorating with icing, sprinkles, or whatever festive magic you love most.

I make mine with gluten-free flour and they turn out beautifully, but they work just as well with regular all-purpose flour too. Either way, they bake up perfectly every time.

Whipped Shortbread

Next up is Whipped Shortbread. This recipe has been a little labour of love as I’ve tested and tweaked it over time to get the gluten-free version just right. It’s quick to make and so simple, yet the result feels special every time. The cookies turn out light, fluffy, and perfectly melt-in-your-mouth. They’re the kind you make once and instantly add to your Christmas baking traditions.

Grandma’s Jam Jam Cookie Recipe

Next up is a recipe that means so much to me: my Grandma’s Jam Jam Cookies. These cozy molasses cookies are sandwiched together with your favourite jam and truly feel like a hug from the past. Every bite brings a little sweetness, a little nostalgia, and a whole lot of childhood memories. This one will always have a special place in my heart.

Gingerbread Cookie Recipe

Finally, we have a true holiday favourite: classic Gingerbread Cookies. These are soft, chewy, and perfectly spiced, and they fill the kitchen with the most wonderful Christmas aroma. You can use cookie cutters to make festive shapes or simply roll the dough into balls and press them lightly with a fork. Either way, they turn out delicious and full of that warm, cozy gingerbread flavour we all love.

I hope these recipes find their way into your holiday traditions and maybe even into memories you’ll treasure for years to come. Thank you for being here and for welcoming my recipes into your kitchen and your holidays. It truly means so much.

Merry Christmas!
